At The Edge Restaurant, indulge in some of the finest cuisine the East Coast of Tasmania has to offer. Nestled in a breathtaking coastal setting, The Edge celebrates the region’s natural bounty with a menu that champions the freshest locally sourced, seasonal and sustainable ingredients.

 

From ocean-fresh seafood to farm-grown delicacies, each dish is thoughtfully crafted to highlight the purity and flavour of Tasmania’s renowned produce. Combined with warm hospitality and panoramic views, dining at The Edge is more than a meal.

Dining at Edge of the Bay

Open daily from August 2025, The Edge serves up delicious breakfast and dinner menus that feature the regional delights. Our passionate chefs are inspired by the natural surrounds and create the perfect accompaniment to your Freycinet experience. Vegetarian and vegan meals are also available upon request and we cater for other dietary requirements.

Breakfast: 7am – 10am for in-house guests
Dinner: 5:30pm – 9:30pm (last reservation at 8pm) for guests and visitors

The Edge Bar

Drink at Edge of the Bay

Located alongside the restaurant, the bar serves pre-dinner and after-dinner drinks from the menu of crafted cocktails, selected beers, wines and spirits. Open and inviting, the bar is the perfect place to unwind and socialise after a day on the beach or out and about. Gaze over the bay towards The Hazards mountain range in Freycinet National Park for a spectacular sunset drink.
