Experiences

The scenic Freycinet Peninsula is where you’ll find iconic Wineglass Bay. It’s been dubbed the world’s best beach so many times, but the popularity hasn’t gone to its head. The curvy white sands and brilliant blue waters are still unaffected by all the attention. Seeing the famous beach is reason enough to visit our region, but there’s natural beauty around every corner on Tasmania’s spectacular East Coast.

Experience the vast and varied scenery surrounding Edge of the Bay. From the impressive granite mountain range known as The Hazards, to the views stretching out over the Tasman Sea from Cape Tourville Lighthouse.

With our exclusive setting near Coles Bay, there’s an abundance of things to do both in and around Edge of the Bay. Use the retreat as a base to discover the wonders of the region. Like pristine Freycinet National Park, Great Oyster Bay to see marine life up close and food lovers are spoiled for choice. Self-driving is recommended to explore the region with ease. Alternatively, join an escorted tour to discover more with a local showing you the way.
