We are at the gateway to Freycinet National Park and Wineglass Bay. Some of the best walking trails in Australia await you on the Peninsula. In Great Oyster Bay you can see marine life up close and food lovers are spoiled for choice. Self-driving is recommended to explore the region with ease. Alternatively, join a guided tour to discover more with the help of a local.

How to get here:
Edge of the Bay is 195km (approx. 2.5 hours) from Hobart along the A3. From Launceston, it’s 175km (approx. 2 hours) taking Highway 1 then the B34 and then the A3.
Following the signs to the Freycinet National Park, Edge of the Bay is 23km from the Coles Bay Road turnoff. The resort is 3.5km from Coles Bay, 5km from the Freycinet National Park and 8km from the start of the Freycinet National Park walks, including the walk to Wineglass Bay.

A walk to stunning Wineglass Bay will be high on your list of things to do while visiting the Freycinet region. We are also pleased to offer a range of activities and facilities onsite, for exclusive use of our guests.
